12 IN. DOUBLE-BEVEL SLIDING COMPOUND MITER SAW WITH LASER GUIDE
We have not used this saw, so i can not say if it’s good or bad. I just know that it has a four star rating on Harbor Freight reviews. After looking at it , your getting a 12″ slider for under $200. Might be worth a try for a new woodworkers.
HARBOR FREIGHT OSCILLATING MULTIFUNCTION POWER TOOL
Under $20 might be worth giving it a try, great for wood working it has a three star rating on Harbor Freight web site

HARBOR FREIGHT 12″BENCH TOP DISC SANDER
This sander is ok I have used it for years for small touch ups. Here is the problem I have with it. The table will not stay square to the disk and the off on switch went out. It still runs and I still use it. Its ok if you don’t use it all the time but I would try to upgrade if you can.
HARBOR FREIGHT 3-1/4 IN. HEAVY DUTY ELECTRIC PLANER
Pick this up one day just to see if it would work on small pieces Surprising this cheap thing cuts great. I planed the edge of some oak. I need to join together, thought I would give it a try and it did a nice job. It works good on doors when you need to shave a little off. I would not recommend this for every day use, but for someone that needs it from time to time. It should do fine. It has a 6 amp ball bearing motor Adjustable cutting depth, it says you can cut rabbit joints. I tried that didn’t work so well, don’t know how long it will last but for now its OK.
For the money, you can afford to give it try.
HARBOR FREIGHT SHAPER
I bought this shaper a few years back, it was on sale and I thought i would give it a try. You can use cutters or router bits, I mainly use router bits in the 1/2″ shank. I have found with its low rpm around 3500 you have a little more finish sanding. And you need to run your wood a little slower. I also had to replace the fence The one that came with it was junk. I make a larger one so I could cut my 5 1/2″ crown. And be able to put feather boards on. It has lasted three years and still going. I don’t use my router table any more. This is not a high quality piece. But if you take your time it should work for a small shop. If it does break down I will mount my router under it.
We made a set of kitchen cabinets with this shaper. So it is usable but hard to work with.
